Bartow History Museum To Host Lecture Series With Author
Danny Pelfrey's lecture will recount stories in a mystery series that feature several local landmarks.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — The Bartow History Museum will host author Danny Pelfrey to a lecture series scheduled for noon Aug. 15.
The title of Pelfrey's presentation is "Bartow County History and Landmarks in the Davis Morgan Mystery Series." Pelfrey said his lecture will include a recounting of the inspiration behind a mystery series set in Adairsville "that triggers each story, and the history of several important landmarks included in the stories.”
Growing up in poverty where he was often without access to TV for entertainment, Pelfrey in his early teens turned to books. It was not unusual for him in his high school years to read three or four books a week, thus his love affair with books developed early. Pelfrey received a bachelor's degree from Point University and a master's degree in ministry from Kentucky Christian University.
