1. Governor Kemp announced an EV battery plant for Bartow County: Hyundai Motor Group and SK On have selected a site in Bartow County for a new electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility. Estimated to create more than 3,500 new jobs and an approximate $4-5 billion investment in Bartow County, the new facility will supply Hyundai Motor Group's plants in the United States. Emma Paige was sworn into the Cartersville Board of Education: In a regular session meeting on Monday, November 14, Cartersville City Schools Board of Education member Kathi White made a motion to amend the agenda to turn in her resignation.
