'Best Dad We Know': Father's Day Photos

Help Patch celebrate Father's Day 2018 by sending in your father-son (or daughter) look alike photos.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, sons become a reflection of the man who raised them.

With Father's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across Georgia to share their father-son (or daughter) look alike photos. Even if you don't look that much alike!

It doesn't matter how old the kids are — they'll always be your babies!

Angelina Morast said her husband, Bobby, was 60 when they adopted their two-year-old "princess."

"She brings more joy to his life — our lives — and keeps him acting like a kid," she said. "They totally adore each other."

Cartersville resident Beckie Collum is sharing this collage of three generations of men and boys in her family: Gary Collum and his son, Christopher, and Christopher's son, Gage. The family also includes Cam'ron Scott Collum, also the grandson of Gary Collum.

"It's the love and bond that they share this Father's Day together," she said.

Chas Arnold of Woodstock shared this photo of himself and his son, Trey, which was taken in September in Pittsburgh:

Sara Williams of Canton notes her husband, Sam, is "loving, kind, gentle and an expert bug rescuer" to their daughter, Julia.

"You are the best dad we know," she said. "We love you." This photo was taken in May in Canton:

Woodstock resident Sam Cassandra is also wishing a Happy Father's Day to her husband, Joe, "who keeps us all smiling." The family also includes children Chloe and Theo. Here's a sweet moment captured June 6 in St. Myers, Florida, by Sam Cassandra between her husband baby Theo:

Sally Bradshaw of Canton is also giving a special shout-out to her father, former Canton City Councilman Wade Buchanan. Buchanan turned 90 on June 1, and is still active in the community. He served as president of the Cherokee County chapter of the American Cancer Society for 10 years, and he continues to chair the annual golf tournament that's raised more than $200,000.

Bradshaw included a family photo featuring four generations that was taken in early June during the annual beach trip:

"Our dad generously provides numerous condos for the entire family each June, and we always look forward to this special time with him," she added.

Amy Beers of Woodstock is also wishing her husband, Chad, a Happy Father's Day.

"Blake is so lucky to have a dad like you," she said. Here's a photo of father and son submitted by Beers:
