Body Found Along Bartow County Road
BREAKING: the unidentified male was discovered early Sunday morning by a passing motorist on Bells Ferry Road in White.

WHITE, GA -- The Bartow County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an unidentified male whose body was found early Sunday morning.
Sheriff's deputies and detectives were dispatched to a call of an unknown problem -- which turned out to be a homicide investigation -- around 12:46 a.m. Sunday, June 4 to the area of 149 Bells Ferry Road in White, which is about two miles off Highway 20.
Authorities came upon the body of a black male located along the roadway by a passing motorist, Sgt. Jonathan Rogers with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office said.

The identity of the man is unknown at this time, and his body has been transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations Crime Lab for an autopsy and identification.
