Body Found Sunday Morning In Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday in the vicinity of 71 Center Road.

Cartersville police spokesperson Lt. Mike Bettikofer said a resident walking his dog found the body Sunday morning.

The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Kenneth Rumph, a Cartersville resident.

Investigators are working to determine a cause and manner of death. Return for updates.
