Here are the top three stories in Cartersville today:

  1. On Tuesday, Oct. 11, the motion to reduce bond for a Cartersville man accused of drug trafficking in Bartow County was denied. According to Bartow County Sheriff's Office records, the defendant was arrested and charged with two drug related charges last spring. (Subscription: The Daily Tribune News)
  2. Update on Tuesday's school bus accident: On Tuesday morning, a Bartow County school bus was struck by a van that reportedly ran the red light. The driver of the van was transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment. No reports of injuries to the six children and one monitor who were on the bus. (wbhfradio.org)
