EVHS Pet of the Week: Bandit, the Siberian Husky

Volunteers and donations are always needed at EVHS. Please feel free to crop by and visit and bring dog or cat food or kitty litter. We have a lot of hungry mouths to feed!

Bandit is a beautiful specimin of a Siberian Husky. Made famous as sled dogs in North America and descended originally from Siberia, the Husky is a popular breed. It's not the dog for everyone, however. Because of the dense double coat, the Husky can be a high-maintenance dog. They are also not well known for their protective instincts and are more likely to invite strangers with a happy howl.

Bandit is two years old and has been vetted, heartworm tested (negative), has been neutered and has a microchip. Bandit's adoption fee is only $175 through the Etowah Valley Humane Society. Adoption days are Wednesdays through Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to five p.m.

Drop by the EVHS campus at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville to meet Bandit or some of the other dogs, cats, puppies and kittens that are up for adoption. If you have any questions about our animals, please call 770-383-3338.
