EVHS Pet of the Week: Callie the Border Collie
Adoption volunteers, dog walkers and kitty cuddlers are always needed. Our dogs and cats also eat a lot, so please consider donating any brand of dog or cat food or kitty litter.
Border Collies are very popular because it's well-known what an intelligent breed of dog they are. Callie is a smart, sweet one year old female that's ready for a new home. She's heartworm negative, has her shots, has been spayed and has a microchip. They're an active breed that need mental and physical stimulation to keep them happy. If you have an active lifestyle, Callie may be just the dog for you.
Callie is up for adoption throught the Etowah Valley Humane Society, 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville. If a Border Collie is too much for you, please look at our other adoptable dogs and cats at www.etowahvalleyhumane.org
Adoption fees for dogs are $175 and for cats it's $125. Please visit us during our adoption days of Wednesdays through Sundays from noon to five p.m. We also hold off-site adoption events at the Acworth Petco every Saturday and Sunday from noon to four p.m. (This Petco is located next to the Target Super Center on Cobb Parkway, Acworth).
