EVHS Pet of the Week: Koda
Koda is a one year old Australian Cattle Dog that's available for adoption through the Etowah Valley Humane Society.
Australian Cattle Dogs are known as a wash and wear kind of a dog. There's not a lot of fussing necessary with their short, brushy coat. Originally bred in the Australian Outback, these dogs were used to herd cattle and sheep over long distances.
Their sturdy, compact size make them an excellent size for a family pet. Koda is a one year old Australian Cattle Dog that's available for adoption through the Etowah Valley Humane Society. He's been neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and has all of his shots. His adoption fee is $175 and applications for him can be found at www.etowahvalleyhumane.org.
Koda is a laid-back, easy-going fellow that gets along great with other animals and people. If you'd like to meet Koda, please come to the Etowah Valley Humane Society at 36 Ladds Mountain Road, Cartersville from Wednesday to Sunday. If you have any questions about the animals currently up for adoption, please call 770-383-3338.
