How to Prepare for the Hummingbirds!

It is that time of year for our flying jewels also known as Ruby-throated Hummingbirds to make their way to their nesting grounds.

Who doesn't enjoy seeing these fiesty birds fighting for space at your flowers or feeders.

What is the best way to clean those feeders? White Vinager and Baking Soda are the safest. I use an old toothbrush to shrub the mold and mildew away.

So...get those feeders ready for the soon to arrive Hummingbirds!

PS...mix 1 cup water with 1/4 cup sugar of the best nectar. Do not waste your money on the premix that is sold in stores.
