Patch Pet of the Week: Jerry, the Maine Coon Cat
Jerry is three years old and is a friendly, cuddly boy who loves laps. He's a beautiful dark tabby, with a long, fluffy coat that doesn't tangle.
The State Cat of Maine, the Maine Coon is a distinctive breed that owes it's hardiness to the northern climes where it normally lives. Jerry is a Maine Coon mix, but is a beautiful, fluffy boy. The long coats of these cats protected them in the snow and sleet of Maine, but in the South protect them from sun and bugs. They're known as good hunters.
Jerry is three years old and is a friendly, cuddly boy who loves laps. He doesn't like barky dogs, but doesn't seem terrified, more like miffed that they even exist in his cat-only world. He's a beautiful dark tabby, with a long, fluffy coat that doesn't tangle. Maine Coons can be found in many colors from orange to black.
Come to the Acworth Petco (3372 Cobb Parkway Acworth, GA) to meet Jerry and his friends, Darryl and Sylvia, if you're interested in bringing home an unusual, big cat. Jerry is three years young.
