Black Oil Sunflower Seeds (BOSS) will get you the most bang for the buck. Trust me...BOSS will not let you down. Northern Cardinals to Nuthatches will flock to the feeder filled with BOSS!
Nijer is a pricey small black seed. Amerian Goldfinches love it...but they also love BOSS.
