What's Up With Women and Cell Phones, Texting?

Am I the only one seeing this? Is it politically incorrect to even voice something like this?

I recently stood on the corner of Main and Museum for about 5 hours and simply counted the number of people that I could plainly see using a cellular device (either phone or texting). In that 5 hours I counted a whopping 277 drivers engaged in distracted driving. Of that number, 196 were female (70 percent) and 81 were male (30 percent). Many more women were what I considered to be texting as well, some with small children in their cars!

For years I drove from Cartersville to Kennesaw early each morning for work.  I noticed this same pattern during that time as well. Many, many more women on the phone than men. Am I the only one seeing this? Is it politically incorrect to even voice something like this? I think public safety overrules PC in this case so I'm putting it out there.
