Georgia State Senator Bruce Thomposn on Wednesday will host a meeting with some of Bartow County’s elected officials to discuss homestead tax exemptions.

Thompson, a Republican who resides in White, will hold the meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the County Commissioner Conference Room at the Frank Moore Administration and Judicial Building.
Slated attend Wednesday’s meeting are members of the Bartow County and Cartersville City school boards, Cartersville Mayor Matt Santini and Bartow County Tax Commissioner Steve Stewart.
