Bryson Qualifies To Run For Chief Magistrate Court Judge

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Bartow County native and local attorney Brandon Bryson qualified on Tuesday to run for the office of chief magistrate judge.

Bryson qualified as a Republican to run in the May 24 primary.
“It has been an exciting past several months, sharing the news with friends and family and working on campaign items,” shared Bryson. “I felt great making it official today and qualifying. I look forward to speaking with many people over the next couple of months, and earning the respect and vote for Chief Magistrate Judge, as I feel that my experience as an attorney, background, and support of this community, make me an ideal candidate.”

After graduating Cartersville High School, Bryson attended Kennesaw State University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science.
Upon graduating from Kennesaw State, he enrolled at the Mississippi College School of Law. While there, he served as an extern for the Office of the United States Trustee for Region 5, covering both Mississippi and Louisiana and spent his summers clerking for a Cartersville law firm.
Working as both an attorney in private practice and in the corporate world, Bryson has represented clients in a variety of legal matters including contract law, criminal law, torts, secured transactions, creditor’s rights and general civil litigation.
He has appeared in Magistrate Courts across north Georgia, giving him "first-hand experience of what plaintiffs and defendants experience in this court system," according to a campaign press release.
“My experience in these courts have provided me with fresh ideas to improve our local court by better educating the court’s patrons, providing better customer service, and running a more efficient and accessible court," he added.
