Butch Walker Donates $5,000 To The Hope Center

The donation was made following Walker's Jan. 6 concert in Cartersville.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Cartersville native and musician Butch Walker recently gave back to an organization that helps patients fight cancer in Bartow County.

Walker made the announcement of his $5,000 donation to The Hope Center on his Facebook page. The photo of the oversized check, he added, was taken Jan. 6 following a concert he held at the Grand Theater in Cartersville.

Walker is the founder of the Autumn Leaves Project, which is raising money not only to fight pancreatic cancer, "but to concentrate on individual patients that need help paying their bills, special meals, gas money to and from treatments," he said.
