This isn’t your average classroom; it’s a hands-on STEM escape designed to turn curious kids into real scientists during our one-week Explorer Camps. With a different theme to explore each week, every session offers a brand-new discovery.&nbsp;&nbsp;Roll up your sleeves and sharpen your observation skills as you practice crime scene investigation&nbsp;one week, or master the art of collaboration by creating your own museum exhibit&nbsp;the next. From cracking the code to using creativity to engineer solutions to wild challenges, our junior scientists will tackle different adventures all&nbsp;summer&nbsp;long.
Come help us prove that the most powerful force in the universe is a curious mind!
<h2>MUSEUM MAKEOVER: What makes you say "WOW!"?</h2>
Explorers&nbsp;will learn what it takes to create a museum exhibit that WOWS guests. Explorers will become the architects of their own exhibition by making a diorama of a museum gallery to take home.

Bartow History Museum

<h2>Hands-On Barn Quilt Workshop Comes to Bartow History Museum!</h2>
Join us at the Bartow History Museum for a Barn Quilt Painting Class as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence by creating a beautiful patriotic 2×2 work of art that you can display indoors or outdoors. No experience is necessary.
Participants will choose one of the quilt patterns, and we will prepare each lightweight, weather-resistant ACM board in advance with the selected design already drawn for painting. Paints and supplies will be provided. When properly sealed, your finished barn quilt will withstand rain or shine, making it perfect for outdoor display. Class size is limited. Please wear clothing you do not mind getting paint on and bring a hair dryer with a cool setting. Participants must select one of the available designs when registering.
Admission is $75.

<h2>An Out-of-This-World Adventure for Young Explorers.</h2>
The Bartow History Museum invites young explorers to embark on an out-of-this-world adventure during its Quantum Quest Summer Camp.
Designed for children ages 5-7, this week-long camp launches campers into a science fiction-inspired journey across the cosmos. Participants will imagine traveling through distant galaxies, discovering strange new planets, and encountering fascinating extraterrestrial life along the way.
Through storytelling, creative activities, and imaginative play, campers will explore the exciting worlds of science fiction while engaging their curiosity and creativity.
The cost is $115 per camper, and space is limited. Early registration is encouraged.
