Calhoun Man Charged With 75 Counts Of Child Porn

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — A Calhoun man is facing charges of child porn and others after police discovered him in a car with a 15-year-old girl on Friday in Adairsville.

Joseph Williamson, 30, of Calhoun, was found in the driver's seat in a cul-de-sac with a 15-year-old girl in the passenger seat. After some questioning, police learned of the girl's age and that her mother had told Williamson to stay away from her after calling her.

Police brought Williamson into the police department for questioning where they discovered he had been having sexual relations with the girl for over a year at his place of residence in Calhoun. He was subsequently arrested and taken to Bartow County Jail.

The Adairsville Police Department charged 75 counts of child pornography, one count of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and one count of interference with custody.

More charges from Calhoun police are pending.
