Here are the top stories in Cartersville today:

1. The Purple Hurricanes have the most wins in football over the past decade by current Class 5A teams. Here are the schools in the top 20 among current Class 5A schools. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
2. Bartow County School System's website won a gold-level state award recently. This month, the website is featuring new administrators. Next month, it will be spotlighting standout student athletes. (Bartow County School Systems via Twitter)
3. Robert Edward Dillen, 70, was arrested Tuesday and charged with terroristic threats and acts, false imprisonment, five counts of child molestation, two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, rape strong arm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A first bond hearing was held Thursday morning, where bond was denied. The case will next go to Bartow Superior Court. (wbhfradio.org)
