Here are the top stories today in Cartersville:
- Early Saturday, Bartow County 911 dispatched EMS and Cartersville Police to the scene of an accident involving an injured juvenile. The child's mother stated to Cartersville Police that the child's father had run them off the roadway, causing them to wreck and had left the scene. (wbhfradio.org)
- Bartow County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.4 percent in September, down four-tenths of a percent over the month and down five-tenths over the year. September ended with 51,318 employed residents, up 494 over the month and rose 1,568 over the year. (wbhfradio.org)
- Dr. Gary Voccio, health director for the Northwest Health District of Georgia Department of Public Health, gives us an updates on COVID-19 and influenza in Northwest Georgia.
