The Cartersville City Council on Thursday approved a request from West End Commons to add residential components to its commercial development.

The council’s approval will allow the developers to add apartment and condominium uses above, below or behind commercial uses in the same building, city documents show.
Council members also approved a move to annex two lots — 11 and 13 Benham Circle — into the city. The annexation allows the parcels, owned by Richard Pascoe, to “receive city services,” the Tribune notes.
