The terms of the separation were mutually agreed upon and approved by the Chamber’s Board of Directors at its April meeting held on Wednesday.
“Joe expressed his desire to pursue other opportunities and did not feel it was appropriate to do so given the public nature of his current position,” the chamber states. “Joe has been an incredible asset not only to the Chamber, but to the community as a whole. We have a strong and relevant chamber that has become an essential community partner in all aspects of the community due in large part to Joe and his efforts in this position. We wish Joe all the best in his future endeavors and know that he will continue to be a great servant to all of Bartow County.”
