Cartersville Man Dies In Workplace Accident

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A Cartersville man died Monday in a workplace accident at Monitor Manufacturing.

Deon Eggleston, 43, died at the scene of the incident, said Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton.

Guyton said the details surrounding the fatal accident remains under investigation, and noted authorities are currently waiting on an autopsy report to determine the cause of death.

Monitor Manufacturing is located at 1450 West Ave in Cartersville. Occupational Safety and Health Administration spokesperson Michael D'Aquino said the agency is investigating, but no other details can be provided at this time.
