Cartersville Medical To Break Ground On Urgent Care Center

Urgent care services are for injuries and illness that aren't life threatening, but need attention.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Cartersville Medical Center is expanding the ways it serves the community in and around Bartow County.

The company will host a ground breaking ceremony next week for a new urgent care center in Cartersville. The ceremony will kick off at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 10 Main Street Market Place — the land between Starbucks and Kroger along Main Street.

Cartersville Medical Center recognizes the need in our community for urgent care services for injuries and illness that aren’t life threatening, but need attention, sometimes after hours.

Staffed with physicians and/or mid-level providers, the hours of operation for Cartersville Urgent Care will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
