Cartersville Medical Center To Host Blood Drive

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Next week, the Cartersville Medical Center will host a blood drive to assist Blood Assurance, the group that supplies the hospital with blood and blood products. 

The initiative will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday, June 20 in Classroom 2 at the hospital. 

All blood types are needed, with an urgent need for O-, O+, A-, AB- and B-, the hospital said. Anyone who donates will receive a free t-shirt.

You can click here to schedule your appointment. Blood Assurance, a nonprofit organization, provides a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood components to more than 70 healthcare facilities in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and Virginia.
