Cartersville Mom Still Missing, Police Ask For Information
A Facebook page has also been created to help locate the missing woman.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — The search for a missing Cartersville wife and mother has entered a second week, with few clues after the Jeep she was driving was found empty in a hotel parking lot.
Heather Dianne McDonald was last seen on Monday, Sept. 19 at Courtesy Inn at 2335 U.S. 411 in Cartersville.
On that same day around 9:30 a.m., an officer observed a red Jeep Wrangler in the parking lot of the hotel "which appeared to be out of place," the agency said.

A follow-up investigation revealed that the vehicle was a rental, and contact was made with husband Stefan McDonald, who told police his wife "was in possession of the vehicle," Cartersville police added.
A canvass of the motel and the area resulted in negative contact. McDonald is described as a white female standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing around 105 pounds. She was last seen wearing gray and green exercise clothing.

Family and friends have also created a Facebook page called Have You Seen Heather? Additionally, organizers will meet Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 5 p.m. at the Goodwill at 929 Joe Frank Harris Parkway to launch a search for McDonald.
