Cartersville, GA -- The Cartersville Police Department is honored recognize the hard work and dedication provided by its members.

These employees have shown consistent and valuable contributions to the city throughout the year.

Chief Frank McCann recently recognized the outstanding performance of the following employees over the course of 2015:

• Supervisor of the Year: Lieutenant Richard P. Hawley, commander, Criminal Investigations Unit;
• Supervisor of the fourth quarter: Lieutenant Sarah Ellington, shift commander;
• Officer of the Year: Investigator Adam Belcher, Criminal Investigations Unit;
• Employee of the Year: T.J. Leffew, IT professional; and
• Officer of the fourth quarter: A.B. Cooney.
