Cartersville Restaurant Donation Provides 'A Touch of Warmth' To Residents

All Longhorn Steakhouse locations across the country recently pitched in to help charitable organizations across the country.

In the spirit of giving and the holiday season, all LongHorn Steakhouse locations across the country collected canned goods and other items to support local food banks, shelters and other charitable organizations.

The Cartersville Longhorn Steakhouse location on East Main Street collected and donated more than 30 blankets to A Touch of Warmth, a Georgia-based nonprofit organization devoted to providing care, comfort, blankets and other goods to those in need.

In Canton, the Longhorn Steakhouse location on Riverstone Parkway collected more than 80 nonperishable food items and donated them to Merismos Ministries/Bethany Place.

Merismos Ministries also benefits from the Canton LongHorn’s Harvest program. Each day, the restaurant “harvests” surplus, wholesome food that wasn’t served in the restaurant and donates it to the food bank. LongHorn is proud to help fight the battle against hunger through their Harvest program.

Bethany Place/Merismos Ministries is a nonprofit organization that provides a transitional home for women and children facing dire situations.
