Cartersville Schools Offer Meals For All Students

Cartersville Schools are making sure all students have enough to eat this school year, as they go back to school on a hybrid system.

CARTERSVILLE, GA – Cartersville Schools are making sure all students have enough to eat this school year, as they go back to school on a hybrid system.

The school system is offering both hot and cold meals to all students, regardless of where they are learning this year. Meals will be served at school on days when students are present. For the first few weeks, students will eat in their classrooms and the schools will assess as the year progresses whether it is safe to eat in the cafeterias.

Every Monday during the hybrid schedule, the schools will distribute meals based on their eligibility status. If a student was eligible for free or reduced lunch last year, families will need to submit a new application this year at myschoolapps.com.
