Cash for Planes Boosts Georgia

As hundreds of shiny new cars and roaring jacked-up trucks race out of , no one notices the family of four with all of their possessions in a shopping cart trying to find a place to stay. 

The chains of the economy have constricted and dragged many Georgians into poverty. President Barack Obama plans to boost Georgia by nearly $10 billion by making a deal with Saudi Arabia. What possibly could Georgia have that is worth that much money?

To generate the money, Robbins Air Force Base has agreed to sell Saudi Arabia some planes. How can the base get Saudi Arabia $10 billion worth of planes?

Eighty-four F-15 fighter jets should do the trick. The deal was announced Dec. 29, just weeks ago. Not only does Obama plan to sell the jets, he also agreed to upgrade 70 old F-15s that are already in Saudi Arabia's fleet.

The upgrades will be done on site in Saudi Arabia and will create a minimum of 85 jobs to fix their planes and ensure that they are properly maintained.

According to the White House, Robbins Air Force Base will bring in a lump sum of $29.4 billion in one large sweep, helping to create jobs and build infrastructure.
