The following information was obtained from an incident report released by the Bartow County Sheriff's Office.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A woman reported an unknown subject stole hundreds of prescription painkillers and cash from her pickup truck over the weekend in Cartersville. A Bartow County sheriff's deputy was dispatched around 2:36 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 to a home on Adams Chapel Road, which is located off Euharlee Road.
According to an incident report released by the agency, the resident said an unknown person entered her Chevrolet Silverado and took a Social Security card, Georgia driver's license, wallet, 100 soma (a common muscle relaxer) pills, 50 xanax pills, 150 oxycodone tablets, $300 in cash and a Coach purse.
The resident told the deputy she heard her car alarm go off and when she looked outside, she saw the driver side door open to the truck. She said she observed what she thought was a Ford Crown Victoria parked on the roadway near her mailbox and "observed the subject run away to the vehicle and drive way," the incident report adds.
