Casino Night Fundraiser Benefits Etowah Valley Humane Society

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- The Etowah Valley Humane Society is gearing up for its 9th annual Casino Fundraiser, which will be held Saturday, Feb. 11.

Residents are invited to ditch the boring dinner plans and join fellow animal lovers to show your puppy love with a fun-filled night of Vegas-style casino gaming, food, music and a silent auction.

Dress in your best Vegas-chic and come place your bets for homeless pets, as the fundraiser will benefit the Etowah Valley Humane Society's mission of saving the lives of homeless animals.

This year’s event will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight at America’s Auto Auction, which is at 444 Joe Frank Harris Parkway in Cartersville.

General admission tickets are $60 and VIP Tickets are selling for $75. All proceeds will allow the Humane Society to carry out its mission.

The Etowah Valley Humane Society began in 1994 as the adoption arm for Bartow County Animal Control. In October 2006, it opened its new shelter on Ladds Mountain Road.

The private, nonprofit corporation derives operating funds primarily from adoption fees, donations, membership fees, and fundraising events. While EVHS has a paid staff, it relies heavily on the efforts of volunteers.
