According to an incident report released by the Bartow County Sheriff's Office, Salter's car was discovered Monday morning by his parents at the parking lot. The report notes Salter likes to hike in the area.
Salter's mother told the responding sheriff's deputy that she was worried about her son's well-being because his employer called and asked if she'd heard or spoken with him.
