Cheapest Gas: $3.48, $3.49

As the last big travel weekend of the summer gears up, the gas price ticks up. The cheapest you'll find in Cartersville today is 5 cents more than it was yesterday.

AtlantaGasPrices.com the last time we checked, the at Old Mill Road and Erwin Street had the lowest price at $3.48 per gallon of regular, followed by several stations at $3.49, including , and .

Several stations have it for $3.49 or more.

If you shop at either of the two grocery stores in town with pumps, you could get gas for 10 cents—or more—off. Just check the bottom of your receipt to make sure you have enough fuel points and at the pump swipe your Kroger Plus or Ingles Advantage card.

Walmart's also offers a 10-cent-per-gallon discount on gas with the use of gift card.
