List: Closed for the Holidays

As your prep for Christmas, here are a few closings to keep in mind:

Schools

• and schools are closed this week and next. Staffs return Monday, Jan. 2, while students are expected back on Tuesday, Jan. 3. 
• spring semester classes commence Saturday, Jan. 7.

Mail

The will not deliver mail on Monday, Dec. 26. 

Government Offices

and government offices will be closed Friday, Dec 23, through Monday, Dec. 26, and reopen Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Trash

The city's trash pick-up service will run Friday, Dec. 23, but there will be no garbage service Monday, Dec. 26. Crews are set to serve those customers Tuesday, Dec. 27, along with scheduled Tuesday pick ups.

Grocery, Retail Stores

• stores will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. will be closed on Christmas.
• will close at 7:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. It will be closed on Christmas.
• will close at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. It will be closed on the actual holiday.
• will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
• will be open 24 hours a day, with the exception of Christmas Eve when it will close at 8 p.m. It will remain closed on Christmas Day.
• Dollar General stores also close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve and are closed Christmas Day.

Library

will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, through Tuesday, Dec. 27.
