Comcast Donates Thousands To Hamilton Crossing Elementary School

The $4,559.36 grant was part of more than $110,000 donated by the Comcast Foundation to a variety of Georgia schools and organizations.

The Comcast Foundation has made multiple financial grants totaling more than $110,000 to a variety of schools and organizations that support the less fortunate throughout Georgia.

That grant includes $4,559.36 donated to Hamilton Crossing Elementary School in Cartersville.

Beneficiaries of the grants include 100 Black Men of Atlanta, American Red Cross, Boy Scouts of America Council, Boys and Girls Clubs, Central State University, East Lake Foundation, Latin American Association, the Ron Clark Academy and the United Way.

“Comcast is proud to support our community partners across Georgia,” said Andy Macke, vice president of external affairs for Comcast. “These grants further our efforts from our very successful Comcast Cares Day in April 2014 to be a key partner to those in need.”
