Here are the top stories today in Cartersville:
- Changes to the downtown ordinances recommended in a city council meeting on Jan. 11, were approved at the latest council meeting. The downtown entertainment district was expanded to include new businesses and new pub crawl cups were approved to be an addition to coming events. Denied again was the recommendation to expand the times that alcohol can be "carried within the zone." (wbhfradio.org)
- The Savoy Automobile Museum and the Tellus Science Museum both have new exhibits worth checking out. 'Locally Owned,' a new exhibit at the Savoy will be open until June 4 and the 'NOAA's Ark' at Tellus will be on display until Oct. 29. (Old Cars Weekly; FOX 5 Atlanta)
