Council to Eye Expanding Urban Redevelopment

Cartersville councilman Thursday are set to hear from staffers working on Urban Redevelopment. In a letter updating leaders, officials say they are considering expanding the zones to include the old Goodyear mill and have received other similar requests.

Also on the agenda is an agreement that would relocate above-ground utilities for construction of the new public safety headquarters facility — to house police and fire operations — on Cassville Road.
