Driver Ejected, Killed in Bartow Crash
The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the accident, which occurred around midnight Saturday on I-75 in Cartersville.

A 26-year-old woman died overnight Saturday in a single-vehicle accident along Interstate 75 in Bartow County.
A 2009 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound at mile marker 295 — near the Cass White Road interchange — in the left lane around midnight April 25 when the driver, Amanda J. Headrick of Rossville, overcorrected, lost control of the vehicle and crossed all three southbound lanes, Georgia State Patrol spokesperson Franka Young stated.

The vehicle ran off the road and hit two trees. Headrick was ejected from the car and died from her injuries, Young added.
