Driver Strikes Water Line, Overturns Vehicle in Bartow County
The motorist was not seriously injured in the single-vehicle collision.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A motorist was injured when he overturned his vehicle Wednesday evening in Bartow County.
The Georgia State Patrol and Bartow County Emergency Medical Services responded to the call around 9:12 p.m. Dec. 14 on Red Top Mountain Road at Bethany Bridge.
The driver told troopers that he "experienced a mechanical problem with his front passenger side wheel, which caused the vehicle, a 2005 Dodge Ram, to exit the right side of the roadway, strike a water line and overturn on its left side," GSP said.

Bartow EMS spokesperson said the driver, identified by the Georgia State Patrol as 59-year-old Acworth resident Mark Ensley, complained of pain in his left arm.
He was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment. The stage agency said charges are pending in the crash.
