Here are the top three stories in Cartersville today:

1. A local entrepreneur and soccer coach was named to a 30 under 30 list. Alex Laldin, local entrepreneur and high school soccer coach, comes in at number 25 of Entrepreneurial Digest's list of rising entrepreneurs under the age of 30. Nominated by his peers, Laldin was selected to the list for his work in the boardroom as well on the athletics field. (Digital Journal)
2. Early voting results are unofficial. Bartow County Elections Supervisor Joseph Kirk wants to remind voters that early election results are unofficial. "It takes us days after Election Day to go through all the forms, the recap sheets, all of the numbers, to make sure everything balances and we reported everything properly." 3. The final beam of the new Cartersville Primary School was set in place after school officials and the Parrish Construction workers who have built the school got to sign it! Construction of the new Cartersville Primary School began earlier this year.
