Early Voting Starts Monday in Bartow County

Cartersville and Bartow County residents will be casting ballots in a slew of local and statewide races for the upcoming May 24 primary.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Monday, May 2 will kick off early voting in Cartersville, Bartow County and across the state for the May 24 primary election.

Residents will be able to cast their ballots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 2-6 and May 9-13 at the Bartow County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office.

Early voting will also be available at the office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14. Advance voting will expand to the Cartersville Civic Center from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, May 16-20.

Polls will open throughout Bartow County on Election Day -- May 24 -- from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can visit the Georgia My Voter Page for information on your voting precinct as well as voter registration status.

Voters in the county will decide on several key local, state and national races, including sole commissioner, sheriff, district attorney, Magistrate Court judge, state senator and state representative and U.S. representative for Georgia's 11th Congressional District.
