Euharlee Covered Bridge 'Que Set For Saturday
The sixth annual event returns to Frankie Harris Park on June 4.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- If you're a fan of barbecue, music and live entertainment, then the 6th annual Euharlee Covered Bridge 'Que is the event you'll want to check out this weekend.
The sixth annual event will be held Saturday, June 4 at Frankie Harris Park in Euharlee.
The festival weekend will start with a free concert from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, June 3 featuring the Donny Hammonds band. Concert attendees can enjoy the music and get a sneak peek at the festival vendors and the cook teams as they begin their competition preparations.

Residents are encouraged to bring their chairs to the free concert.
The Covered Bridge ‘Que Competition & Festival on Saturday will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bartow County's only Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned competition will feature more than 40 teams, more than 40 vendors, a car and bike show, a free kids zone and live music throughout the day.

Here's a rundown of Saturday's events:
People’s Choice
The People's Choice Competition starts at 11 a.m. Entry into the People’s Choice tasting tent is $10/person and allows you to sample every participating teams BBQ and cast your vote for your favorite. All proceeds from the Choice Completion benefit the Etowah Valley Humane Society.
Old School Challenge
This challenge returns this year for teams willing work on the ground out in the open where spectators can watch them prep and cook without the benefits of fancy air-conditioned mobile kitchens. The teams that accept the challenge of cooking "backyard style" will be eligible for additional cash prizes compliments of Johnny Mitchell's Smokehouse.
Beer Garden
Adult Beverages will be available to purchase from the Johnny Mitchell’s Smokehouse Beer Garden. Set up next to the entertainment stage, the beer garden will be open on Friday night and Saturday.
Car & Bike Cruise In
Sponsored and hosted by American National Insurance – The Dustin Dickens Agency and the Etowah Valley Humane Society, the Classic Car & Bike Cruise In will be located right outside the park entrance in the clearing just before the footbridge. The Car & Bike Cruise In will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and all proceeds benefit the Etowah Valley Humane Society.
Live Entertainment
Sponsored by After Dark Studios, this year's lineup of live music and entertainment includes:
- 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.: The Dixie Fire Cloggers
- 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Patty Bell
- 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.: Etowah River Band
- 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Andy Konecny
- 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Donny Hammonds
- 2 pm. to 3:15 p.m.: Up All Night Band
- 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Ryan Goodwin
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.: BBQ awards & announcements
Kids Zone Activities
Thanks to our friends at Children’s Dental Center of Cartersville, the free kids zone activities will return again this year with inflatables and other kid friendly activities.
Frankie Harris Park is located at 115 Covered Bridge Road. Parking for the event is on Covered Bridge Road just before reaching the Library and Euharlee History Museum.
