Euharlee Historical Society Welcomes Local Authors

The lecture and book signing will begin at 10:00 with a light brunch provided by the EHS Board of Trustees.

From Euharlee History: On April 7, the Euharlee Historical Society will host authors Danny and Wanda Pelfrey as the featured speakers for the Society’s Spring Quarterly Meeting. The lecture and book signing will begin at 10:00 with a light brunch provided by the EHS Board of Trustees. The program is free and open to the public.

The Pelfreys, in the past wrote helpful non-fiction books and materials, have turned to “mysteries with a message.” Among Danny’s books are Life in Adairsville and One-Way Choices. Wanda authored Making the Most of Your Child’s Teachable Moments. Their third book in the David Morgan Mystery series, On Level Ground is out for purchase. They will be signing their works and will have several on hand for purchase. Both of the Pelfreys received a degree from Point University, and Mr. Pelfrey earned his Master’s of Ministry degree from Kentucky Christian University.

EHS Program Chairman, Betty Jane Tilley, encourages the Bartow County community to join them for this exciting event at the Euharlee Welcome Center and History Museum. Additionally, she hopes that participants will tour the temporary exhibit featuring the famous bridge builder, Horace King, and family.
