Later in the month, the Euharlee Historical Society and the welcome center and history museum will host a book restoration workshop.
The workshop, featuring Mike Grimes of TLC Book Restoration, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27. Grimes has over 40 years of experience in restoring books and will showcase examples of his work.
“I get a lot of satisfaction from taking an old book or family Bible and making it look new again,” Grimes said.
Residents are invited to bring their books to the workshop for him to examine.
Both events will be held at the Euharlee Welcome Center and History Museum, which is located at 33 Covered Bridge Road.
