Irish native and longtime host of WRFG Atlanta's "The Celtic Show", John C. Falstaff presents an historical tour of the musics of Ireland, Scotland and Wales, both on their home turfs and throughout the Celtic diaspora. From the 1940s and 1950s origins of the Clancy Brothers and the Chieftains to the 1990s sensation of Riverdance and beyond, it's a story that spans much of the globe, overlaps with country and bluegrass, and has influenced artists as diverse as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, the Grateful Dead and Metallica.
