Gospel Group The Singing Cookes in Concert

On November 3, 2012 one of southern gospel music’s best loved groups, The Singing Cookes, will once again take the stage for a night of gospel music at the Clarence Brown Conference Center located at 5450 Georgia Highway 20 in Cartersville at 6:30 p.m.

The Singing Cookes first appeared at the Conference Center in December 2011. They ministered to a near capacity crowd that included fans from Tennessee, North Carolina and Alabama. The audience enjoyed heart-warming testimonies and southern gospel music as only The Singing Cookes can deliver.

The venue provides an intimate and up-close atmosphere for a gospel concert. “We have been singing in Georgia since the 1970s. We love our fans there and Cartersville has made us feel so welcome” said Jeanette Cooke, the matriarch of the group. “Everyone had such a good time in December that they had us back in April and we look forward to being there again on November 3rd.” The Singing Cookes and promoter Keith Fountain hope to make this a semi-annual event.
