The New Frontier of Bartow County, Inc. will be sponsoring their annual Walter A. Johnson, Sr. Roast on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the Cartersville Civic Center, beginning at 7:00 PM. The cost of the event is $25. Dinner will be provided.
The proceeds from this event will benefit the organization’s scholarship fund, which will be awarded at their annual Awards Day Program on Sunday, June 12, 2011. The roastee for the occasion will be Ernest Renfroe.
