Every Child's A Star Auditions Set For Saturday

Cartersville, GA -- Auditions for the 23rd annual Every Child’s a Star talent show will take place Saturday, Jan. 16 in Cartersville.

Organizers for the talent show, which will benefit Cartersville-based Advocates for Children, will be holding auditions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center at Sam Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, which is located at 100 West Church Street.
Auditions are open to anyone in kindergarten, primary, elementary, middle or high school. Those auditioning are not required to be a resident of Bartow County.

Participants need to bring a pre-recorded accompaniment (CD preferred), and be prepared to perform a three minute act of dance, drama, vocal or instrumental music or gymnastics. Music and performances must be age appropriate, G-rated material.
Those wanting to audition may submit a video of their talent, but the Every Child’s a Star producer Bill Brown must be notified in advance of the audition date.
A panel of three judges will select the contestants to perform at the final competition of Every Child’s a Star, which will be held March 5 at Cass High School’s Performing Arts Center.
Participants are responsible for their own costumes and props, required to attend all rehearsals and to sell tickets to the show.
Many individuals have given countless hours, days and months of time to make Every Child’s a Star the long running successful tradition it has become.
