The Bartow History Museum will soon open a new exhibit featuring some of Bartow County’s most famous structures.

Bridges of Bartow County will launch on Thursday, Oct. 29. The exhibit looks back at some of the bridges and ferries from the county’s past. It will include images and stories pertaining to several historic and existing bridges in Bartow County.
There will also be a section on the builders and tools of these bridges. The exhibit will be open through March 12, 2016.

Opening day will include a member preview at 6:15 p.m., and a lecture by Katie Gobbi, director of the Euharlee Welcome Center and History Museum. That lecture will kick off at 7 p.m.
Gobbi will discuss the construction and significance of the Euharlee Covered Bridge.
